Mintlayer Institutional Suite: Tokenization Ecosystem
October 21, 2025

Mintlayer’s Institutional Suite combines three core elements that let institutions operate interoperably with Bitcoin, and bridge traditional finance into a decentralized future.

Tokenization has moved from pilots to core infrastructure. Administrators, family offices, private credit funds, and real estate managers now need simple platforms to issue and manage funds, debt, private credit, equity, and RWAs. Mintlayer provides a secure infrastructure that is interoperable with Bitcoin for streamlined RWA issuance.

Enterprise Platform

The Mintlayer Institutional Suite unifies three pillars:

  • The Mintlayer Network: Tokenization infrastructure for easy on-chain issuance and interoperability with native Bitcoin.

  • Interest. One: Six institutional-grade, AI-assisted funds that let Bitcoin holders access real-world, regulated yield.

  • Mintlayer Web Services: Custom dApp development and white-label financial solutions for tokenized equity, commodities, bonds, and real estate.

The stack delivers efficient AI fund administration while maintaining human control and verifiable transparency while preserving Bitcoin aligned self custody.

The Mintlayer Network

The foundation of the system is the Mintlayer network, which enables seamless interoperability with Bitcoin so institutions can use collateralized BTC for financial instruments and tokenized RWAs. The key component is atomic swaps that allow native Bitcoin to be exchanged directly for assets tokenized on Mintlayer, without wrapped tokens or custodians. These cross-chain swaps are executed in a decentralized manner, removing third-party custodial risk.

Interest. One: Hold Bitcoin, Earn real Yield

To bring practical utility to Bitcoin finance, Interest. One connects BTC to institutional-grade opportunities across the real economy. Holders can gain exposure to regulated, yield-producing sectors without giving up ownership or control.

Interest.One’s Fund of Funds Portfolio:

  • Real Estate
  • Healthcare and MedTech
  • AI and Advanced Computing
  • Energy and Mobility
  • Sustainability, Food and Water Security
  • Defense and Cybersecurity

For the first time, institutions can use Bitcoin in products tied to traditional finance with the efficiency, security, and transparency of blockchain.

Mintlayer Web Services (MWS)

Mintlayer Web Services (MWS) is the development arm of the Institutional Suite. It’s our product studio for enterprise grade solutions across fintech, DeFi, and digital asset management. MWS services and products included tokenized equity, commodities, bonds, and real estate modules, plus KYC and AML workflows, cap table and reporting tools. The result is production ready infrastructure that fits existing operations and scales with institutional needs.

Traditional Finance & DeFi finally working together

Traditional finance and decentralized infrastructure are converging. Mintlayer’s Institutional Suite brings them together with RWA tokenization, on-chain transparency, and automated workflows that integrate with existing operations. Institutions can issue, manage, and report on assets with clear audit trails, permissions, and risk controls. Interest. One adds regulated, Bitcoin-backed yield, and MWS supplies a wide variety of products and integrations. The result is a practical path from legacy systems to programmable, verifiable markets on Bitcoin.
